Rather weak aromas, inherently bitter with light citric hopping and basement mustiness. Iced tea to the flavor with high lemon & fine, delicate yet prominent bitters to end. Damn sessionable.

Good amber colour, solid hoppy aroma, not much sweetness to this beer, mouthfeel is dry and.. well... bitter. Very smooth and drinkable. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 9, 2005 (500 ml bottle: $3.79 at Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa, CA) Dry, grassy nose with a decent hop aroma. The flavor is also minimally sweet, with a mildly bitter but a very grassy, dry and hoppy flavor. Light bodied and very clean, and a little crisp in the finish. Medium gold color, crystal clear, and topped by a small, but very long-lasting, off-white head that leaves large patches of dense lace on the glass. Not really a style of beer I’m likely to enjoy. ehhdayton (1113), USA

Ice-cold it’s great, refreshing and delicious! Drank it until the bluebirds were chirpin’ Cable (286), SE, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 25, 2005 Sampled from bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a lasting, creamy, white head. The sheets of lacing left along side the glass make this bitter even more enticing. Aroma is spicy, floral and has a hard-candy-like sweetness. Flavor is pleasantly bitter, but has a soft sweetness in the middle. Medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. a very refreshing, easy-drinking bitter. I bet this would be great on cask. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Sep 21, 2005 True amber color, with a nice whipped head, but very still. Sweet cookie aroma. Mellowly flavored ... lightly malted with a grassy hop bitterness. Bit light on the palate. jaymobrown (1354), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 15, 2005 Well, I’d say that this is a fairly drinkable beer. Light color. Some crisp malt, sort of toast, cookie flavors. Low on the bitter scale. Soft texture. I’d have more of these, but considering they were $9 at the bar I was at it wasn’t worth it.
