Deep gold, very clear. Citrusy and flowery hop aroma, slight malt. Flavor is a little sweet, caramel, balance towards hops. Good long bitter finish, and great hop flavor. Needs lower carbonation in bottled version, it detracts from flavor. Also has a neutral yeast character that I don't find appealing in bitters.

Bottle conditioned. Now brewed by Hepworths if I recall correctly. Floral hops in a slightly tired way main aroma of fresh fermenting yeast. Pleasant enough but neither really sweet nor bitter.

Copper coloured. Dusty and meaty aroma. Dusty flavor with nice tones of East Kent Goldings

Light anmber beer with very light malts aroma, not very interesting. Nice dry malts flavour with a biscuity quality, and light citrus/grapefruits. Nice balnce of hops in aftertaste. Light to medium body.

Clear amber color. Not much aroma, very faint, some caramel. Flavor is sweet and creamy, palate is a bit thin.

Dark gold with a thin, non-lasting head. Either I used a dirty glass, or this has a lot of sediment. Somewhat light aroma of hops and spice. Taste is almost all hops. Medium bodied. Clean, bitter finish. It's no Fullers, but it is a good session beer... on tap, I could knock these back at a pub.

Am I missing something here, or did someone forget to put the bitter in this Bitter? Gold color with almost no head at all. Light caramel aroma. Too sweet and did I mention NO BITTER?
