Bottle. This beer had a small sized off-white head with fine-small sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was cloudy/hazy and carbonated with a dark golden hue. The nose was hoppy, sweet and some light spicy notes. The flavor was lightly bitter and hoppy. The mouthfeel was bitter and it had a dry finish. This was a medium bodied beer with fair lacing.

This bottled brew poured a small head of finely sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a good lace. The body was a hazy yeasty light orange brown color typical of the English. The aroma was a simple mild malt hop yeast dough smell. The mouth feel was tingly and hoppy with a bit of pale ale like feeling. The flavor was somewhat bitter with a hoppy malty doughy taste.

Aroma is a typically English fruity ester profile with some herbal/spicy hops coming through. Kind of hazy gold amber color, thin head laces my glass. Flavor is malt up front, with that fruitiness showing up, and then it finishes with a moderate hop flavor and bitterness. Medium body, slightly astringent - I get this sometimes from English hops, and it may be on purpose b/c it makes you want to take another sip. Nice crisp bitter, good balance.

16.9 fl oz brown squat shaped bottle. Cryptic date of L-165-03 on back label. Poured out a golden yellow / copper color, with a fast fading, thin white head. It didn't even have the courtesy to leave a lacing, either. Rude bastard. Oh well. It smelled mostly of malts, and Challenger hops. They are earthy, spicy, and somewhat tangy in both flavors, and aromas. Thin mouthfeel, leaves you wanting something more. Bitter finish as it's swallowed. Doesn't linger long on the tongue, however. A decent bitter overall.

Bright amber appearance. Reserved nose that was slightly fruity. Crisp, hoppy taste with a citrusy flavor. Well carbonated, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Dry, bitter finish.

The beer splits from the bottle a slightly hazed copper color, the head smallish in size, bubbly in texture and the color an off white, the lace a velum like sheet to obscure the glass. The aroma of malt dominates the nose, quite fresh and crisp; maybe just a whiff of hops, start is somewhat sweet, nice malt profile and the top moderate in its feel to the palate. Finish has a friendly acidity, the hops delectable in their spiciness, bone-dry aftertaste that languishes on the palate, quite quaffable, and a great beer after a trying day at work.

This is #200 for me! Very little head and slightly cloudy with a light amber color. Nose is light with soap and citrus scents. The flavor is piney and light on the hops. As others have said, it is thin. However, the lack of malt is expected when the label boasts of the hops. Picks up more malt flavor as you work through the glass. Has an earthy aftertaste. Decent, but nothing special.

A very unimpressive bitter, with a golden grainy appearance and a thin light layer of foam, that leaves very little lacing. A very unappealing bitter aroma. The first taste is not bad, but the aftertaste is awful, unbalanced, watery and grainy, almost like I was drinking a skunky lager. This was just overly dry hopped to the point that the flavor is almost gone.
