(Dutch ratebeer meeting)Strange, when I see the ratings. This beer is very underrated. This is the second english beer I really liked after the fullers Vintage. Sweet grapefruit aroma. Hazy, yellow/amber coloured with a thin white head. Taste is bitter, slightly sour and fruity. Bit thin palate. Very decent brew.

Golden with a nice head. Aroma is citrus, a bit sour. Has a mild flavor that is fruity but also sour from citrus. Hoppy with a slightly bitter finish.

Thin penicillin head. Looks lke how a southern beer should look. Smooth mellow flavour, slightly watery but a good standard bitter

A pleasing & pleasant bitter that makes one long for the dank, musty darkness of an English Pub. Pours a radiant copper-gold with a slight-white lacy head. Tastes initially of sweet malts that are quickly overrun by strong, oatmealy hops. Grainy. Hops throughout. Not as "bitter" as one might hope!

50 cL bottle, shaker glass, 55 degrees F. Small, tight, white, creamy head is lasting and sits on a deep orange-amber body that is moderately hazy. Cookie and grain malt (M); flowery hops (M); apple, white wine, and yes, geraniums. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic flavor becomes a moderately bitter, moderately acidic finish. Slightly unclean, mineral aspect to the finish. Medium-light body, watery texture, lively carbonation, moderately astringent. The bottom line is: flowery hops, good; tasting like potting soil, bad.

Great hop aroma, great hop taste, but there isn't much else to this beer! Where I normally would taste some malt I get a watery sensation.

I had an absolutely terrible bottle. Totally flat and non-carbonated. Nothing about this beer was even worth writing about. I will buy another bottle and see if it was just the bottle.
