Bottle. Light citrus aroma-hints of lemongrass and hops. Not much flavor overall. I must agree with the other reviews-nothing special. Left a slight metallic taste on the tip of my tongue. Also left a feeling in the back of my mouth akin to that of putting a 9v battery on you tongue.

Pours a clear, golden amber. Hops, grassy-hay, light citrus/orange element but too watery and basic

Amber color with a foamy head. Partly Cloudy. Aroma is very slight noble hops. Flavor isn’t that strong, basically just a little light malt and a hint of bittering hops. The finish has a sort of citrus bitterness that’s almost sharp. Didn’t like that part too much.

500 mL bottle from Market Street Wineshop Downtown Charlottesville, VA. Pours a slightly hazy light brown color. Large frothy head with good head retention and great lacing. The aroma is bitter noble hops with grainy and nutty notes. Taste is caramel apple, some graininess and a nice level of hoppiness. Medium bodied with strong carbonation. Top notch bitter.

Bottle at White Horse, Parsons Green, London, 22 Nov 2008. Dark amber colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, nuts and earthy hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of orange, apricots, biscuity malt and a balanced citrussy bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Nice balance between malt and hops. Well made and tasty.

I was a bit disappointed in this one. Pours a clear straw with a decent froth. NO lacing. Aroma is light hops. Flavor has maily light hops, some very weak malt, witha bit of banana. Palate is watery and slightly carbonated. Overall a drinkable, but diappointing beer.

Bottle courtesy of durhambeer. Pours gold with a thin white head. Smells of dry malt, some light citrus. Tastes of hay, dry malt, light pepper. A touch of bitterness is present on the finish.
