zappafan99 (283), Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA Jul 8, 2008 Taste7/8. Amber with thick white head. Fresh hops, sticky mild roast malt. Caramel. Taste: Mild American Pale Ale. Lots of aroma. Quality session ale.( for a light weight.) Cuts through deluxe pizza like a slicer. Great taste for such low abv.. Quality brew. Hard to do with such low abv.
KnN (259), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Aug 20, 2008 Pours a really nice golden orange color with a thin white head and lots of carbonation. Aroma is a little hoppy with some citrus and bread notes.
Flavor is a little strange. Almost no hops bitterness at all. Not any kind of bitterness. Almost like sweet lemonade and orange juice with some malt hiding in the background. This beer is quite a bit sweeter than I expected. The citrus notes are nice though. Pretty decent beer. Capa (737), Yokosuka, Japan Aug 11, 2008 Hoppier than expected, along with biscuit malts, and light citrus notes. Active carbonation. Reminded me of a light American Pale Ale. Very enjoyable, but I won’t reach for it when I’m in the mood for a bitter. ilovedarkbeer (705), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 7, 2008 Pours a orange honey like color with a small head that looks like crystalized sugar against the rim of the glass. Nose is of toast and grass. Mouthfeel is moderate and the finish is short. Taste starts with cardboard / paper and finishes with some corn. I am not sure about the condition of this bottle but the taste and of this beer is not to my liking. gary07734 (139), Tyne & Wear, England Aug 3, 2008 Nice golden pint, creamy/tan head. Taste is bitter, hoppy, nicely balanced. Good bitter finish. Very nice.
