Tap @ Horse Brass Pub... Poured clear golden-yellow with a thick white head. The head diminished to a steady lacing on the beer through the whole beverage. Floral aroma with cracker-like malt grains. Light palate and light flavors created a nice session ale. Grassy and earthy malt tones with a tiny bit of hop bitterness in the finish.

500ml bottle from the GBBF bottle stall, drunk 28th Sept 08. Very lively orange amber with a small white head. Nice fresh citrus and hop aroma and a soft, balanced taste. Not as biting as many golden ales.

Well this is certainly in no danger of being a US APA! Aroma is only slightly citrus and leans more towards sweet raro. I think this has suffered from the journey but has an understated charm.

[50cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring.] Hazy amber with a thin white head - grainy aroma - soft herbal flavour with some grapefruit citrus undertones - rather thin and watery, and with a medicinal finish. Disappointing.

50cl Bottle bought @ de Schans. Hazy amber/orange with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, some caramel and malts. Flavour is soft, hoppy, grapefruit, both American and English hops blend in in a nice balance. Slightly sweet, but overall very neutral and unoffensive, just a bit thin. Enjoyable though.

Bottle at home ... amber ... sweet grapefruit hop nose ... again big clean grapefruit hop hit... medium body medium carbonation... fairly standard but good at what it is.

nose of intense citrus and mild hops. pours very clear and translucent with nice head that dissapates quickly. carbonation is very lively, head is not dull foam but very alive. flavor matches fragrance, of strong acidic citrus, lemon espically comes across thin on the palate and hops are weak on the tounge. smells better then it tastes but even the aroma predicts such a dull taste.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a small lacing off-white head. Mild fruity citric and mild acidic. Mild lemonish and fruity base flavour. Citric and hoppy base flavour with a vague bitterness coming through and light sweetness into a mild finish.
