Aroma is spiced with notes of nuts, caramel and a hint of hops. Flavor has a strong spicy flavor, I know what it is but I can’t pinpoint it. Almost a Belgian flavor. Decent and different. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Bottle conditioned. Amber coloured with a slim white head. Sourish fruit aroma reminiscent of somethin Belgian, with malt and spices. Some sourness in the taste, fruity, spices again - perhaps more herbal edging medicinal. Medium bodied. A bit strange but good. Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2006 Good amber/brownish color, small but long lived off white head that managed to leave a small lace behind. The aroma was fruity and slightly spicy with a sweet malty side.fruity and slightly medicinal in the beginning, the flavor later turns to a semi sweet malty taste with some citrus notes and maybe even a bit of a spice or herbal thing going on as well.It finishes up nicely with a bit of a semi sweet fruity taste.Oer all i’d have to say the experience was a good one.Fairly easy to drink brew with some nice flavors and not to much of eather one to make it sickening,so balanced nicely IMO.well worth trying again.
