Bottle. Pours a red amber colour with a thin white head. Has a light fruity aroma, the taste is all fruit, and a hint of bitterness. A really good beer and a good example of a old ale.

Bottle. Pour an orange brown body with an off white head. Lightly bittersweet apple skin aromatic character. Dingy malty bitterness. Dry malty thin birch bitter finish. Decent.

Bottle. Pours a coppery amber with a medium sized head and lots of little bubbles on the side of the glass. Aromas are weak... a bit of malty sweetness, a little bit of an apple juice edge, and some grassiness. Flavor is similar... a fairly malty center with a bit of bitter hops around the edges and a thin palate. It’s fine enough, but just not very interesting, especially for an old ale.

Clear amber with a sizable cream colored head. Good amount of lacings. Aroma is somewhat sour apples. Taste is astringent, some brett like flavors, mildly bitter hops. Not much going on here. An O.K. English pub beer. I paid about $5 for this beer and I would be better off drinking almost any random West Coast micro and at about half the price. Drinkabilty is good due to the under 5% abv.

Bottle. Shimmering copper pour. Short, dense white foam on the surface. Nose is light caramel, bready malt, flowery hops, and dried fruit. Taste is hoppy and grassy with more bready malts, caramel, light toffee, dried fruit, touch of honey, and toffee. Body is light medium and has a creamy carbonation. Ends with more bitter hops, caramel, light toffee and honey, citrus, flowers, and tea notes.

Bottle [Courtesy of Paul, thanks buddy for bring this excellent stuff] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Hazy orange like color. Aroma of flower, peach, citrus and fruit. Also like notes of malt / caramel over the palate. Quite tasty hoppy flavor. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor in balance. Dry bitter floral and fruity finish. Lovely Ale.
