Bottle conditioned, Booths, Windermere. Mid brown with a good, firm white head. Earthy, almost gritty flavour, with an almost stale-like aroma. Dry palate and biscuity.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Mild peachy and citrus fruity hops aroma. Bitter and citrusy hops flavoured, towards orange fruity, with a rather vague malt base. Light peachy and citrusy clean and crisp hops flavour and bitterness. Lasting fruity hops flavour into the far finish.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (140808)

Golden amber with fair, creamy white head / Odd but interesting, sweet medicinal nose / Light to medium body, thin, with semisweet malts and fair, hoppy finish / Flavors of cough drops, licorice, malt, cherries, and spun sugar / Peculiar, but curious. Wonder about the historical origins of this flavor profile.

(Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki, on 2008-09-19) Amber. Clear. Medium sized quickly disappearing white head. Fruity grassy and malty nose. Full bodied dryish palate with quite a lot of carbonation. Hops, grass, salty liquorice, malts and some vegetable flavours in taste. Long lasting surprisingly soft and bitter aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Draught at Angleterre, Helsinki. Amber color with small head. Sweetish, fruity, berryish, and caramelly aroma with notes of resiny english hops. Dryer, yet caramelly, nutty and toasty flavor with resiny hops. Dry, crisp and bitter finish.
