Clear amber with a sizable cream colored head. Good amount of lacings. Aroma is somewhat sour apples. Taste is astringent, some brett like flavors, mildly bitter hops. Not much going on here. An O.K. English pub beer. I paid about $5 for this beer and I would be better off drinking almost any random West Coast micro and at about half the price. Drinkabilty is good due to the under 5% abv.

It’s light bodied with a small off-white head, and light carbonation. The beer is bottle conditioned and tastes ever so slightly dry and bitter with a musty fruity taste. It’s a bit caramely but only very subtly.

Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Very clear amber with large stark white head and nice lacing. Aroma of dry spice, fruit, tea, sour bread and English hops. Light fruit, bread and tea-like malts with some English spice counterbalance. Wow, very tea-like and somewhat tart and musty. Low to moderate carbonation, relatively light body, exceedingly dry.

Bottle. Nice beer to have with food or lunch. fairly light with a nice caramel flavor profile and some bitter hops in the finish. Solid, with a medium palate.

Bottle from BOM. Pours the color of iced tea, with a fluffy cream colored head. The aroma is kind of funky like old eggs and skunk urine. The flavor is quite similar with a finish of Stinky’s hairball. It’s a shame, this one was rated well, I think this bottle was way past it’s prime.

500 ml bottle from College Liquors in Grand Junction. Pours a light golden color with a thick white head and loads of sticky lacing. The aroma is very odd; sweet honey, funky herbs and sour malts. A weird sour flavor, sweet honey grains, something funky, old dirty socks, wood. So weird. I wonder the age of this bottle. Anyway, decent.

Bottle via Bonster in trase. Lovely glowing amber gold with steady carbonation. lacing fades fast. Body is light but bolstered with a circle of thin hops. some ripe fruit mingle with the hops to give a nearly sour finish. malts also balance this out to a pleasurable experience but just so. Lots going on in such a quick body.... tought to figure with just one bottle....but thats just me.

Got this bottle a few months ago at Sam’s in Chicago. Not bad. Poured with a nice, foamy, frothy, textured, off white head and lots of lace. Color is a lovely, clear, medium amber. Aroma is good spicy, maple, malty, ripe fruit, and honey. Flavor is more muted but with most of the above characteristics. Has good carbonation but a bit thin in body. Not ruby red in color at all like commercial description, but so...? Finish is ok and short.
