Pours a great, clear, shining golden with a fine, medium, creamy, white head. Very nice looks. Aroma is quite Saison-like, good crispy, biscuity malts, some vanilla, pear, oranges and a slight oaky note. High carbonation, nice mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit more subdued than the aroma, some good maltiness, lightly acidic and a fair amount of pleasant, dry hoppiness. Nice surprise.

Jul 14, 2008 Bottled, 330ml at Kafee du Hopduvel, Ghent. Clouded orange with white head, hard carbonation. Quite strong pear drop aromas which lead to a sharp, acidic and drying beer. Nasal alcohol and reasonable hops, pretty reasonable.

Mar 19, 2008 Golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has sweetness, notes of malt and light citrus and apple. The flavour has sweetness, a light citrussy bitterness, notes of malt, alcohol (quite a bit) and light hints of coriander and yeast. IMO the alcohol should be more subdued, and that makes the overall impression somewhat unbalanced.

Mar 9, 2008 ZBF2008: From tap. Pours hazy orange with a dense and white head. Light spiced and caramel malt aroma. Flavour is mildly sweetend and with a mellow yeast note mixed with a light spice note. Quite well balanced and smooth. Ends with a lingering smooth mix of the flavours.

Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, lemon - citrus, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration.
