Jan 17, 2009 [1801-20081017] Cask. Smells like black tea that has been sitting out awhile. Clear, amber brown body with no head. More thinly veiled tea in the flavour. Medium body is thin. Exactly like cold tea -- period.
Overheard: "It smells like Chinese take-out tea."

Nov 17, 2008 Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2008. A clear sign that I’m a ratings whore ... Looks like a million other pale lagery brews (light gold, small white head) - smells like dead floral hops and dry vegetal malt, tastes the same - somewhat sharper with the floral spice and hemp pungency than the normal buzz, but still just a fizzy yellow beer with hemp overtones - light body, decent carbonation, crisp, quick-finishing, odd, slightly harsh aftertaste. Like Sammy says, better than the regular Buzz, but not by much.

Oct 18, 2008 2008-10-17. Big aroma of florals and vegetation, tea residue. Similar flavour, tea like flavours, sort of astringent like spent tea bags. Light caramel malt underlies the whole. Average palate. Meh. Bit rough around the edges for my liking. Cask @ Volo Cask Days 2008

Oct 18, 2008 Hemp beer one-off offered at Volo Cask Fest 2008. Hemp and rope and dry, and then spices. Lace dots. Thin mouthfeel, brown. Some cinammon and other indistinct spice in the finish. Quaffable it is.Neutral aroma.Better than a regular hemp ale.Better than expected from this brewery likely owing to its freshness.
