D (502), Kraków, Poland Apr 9, 2008 Another fizzy, pseudo-cider drink. Doesn’t taste like beer at all, has a sour, artificial apple flavour, but doesn’t drink bad. Hardly tolerable at all, rather ok in its class
HenrikSoegaard (3287), Randers, Denmark Nov 29, 2008 Can. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Artificial but still nice apple aroma.
Very sweet aritificial flavor. Apple not very present, more additives. Syruply palate. saxo (2431), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Nov 29, 2008 Can. Nice head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are dominated by apple and malt. A bit artificial. FrankJohansen (2876), Sabro, Denmark Nov 29, 2008 Can. Pale yellow colour with a large white creamy head. Looks isnt everething. Bottle green, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours pale gold, shiny and perfectly clear body texture, carbonation of the body is medium to gentle, head is foamy to fizzy, initially small and quickly decreasing to minimal froth flaoting on the body surface. Head is white in colour, no lacing.
Aroma: Initially ther is a kind of artificial strong green apple, refreshing and a bit harsh aroma mixed or spiced up with a kind of hoppy skunkyness vivened yet by initial carbonation coming off just in the moment of the bottle opening. Later on sugary sweetness and rubber or apple bubble gum, some gentle malty sweetness at the background. Far too artificial and too sweet.
Flavour: Very harsh and tangy on palate, hints of slightly rotten tomato, citric accid, totally covered maltyness by accidity and tangyness, rather one dimentional taste. Hopefully not too sweet. Refreshing, yes but in the moment of drinking, after drinking leaves kind of souraftertaste. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is weak, finish feel is lightly astringent, tangy and sandy, no alcohol.
Radek Kliber (3402), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 20, 2008 Green Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Golden brew with very light short lived top.2-
Nose Sweet green apple character with aspartame ,lighter pale malt behind all that.4-
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied with artificial strong tartness of citric acid, apple character unnecessarily sweeten by aspartame. It could be left alone as it but someone decided that fruit flavored beers should be super sweet. Lacking refreshing qualities. Too chemical to my liking.
