Commercial Description:
Aromatic notes of chocolate and roasted nuts provide this robust porter the finesse and malt backbone that craft beer lovers have come to expect. Gran Sport is the darkest, and most refined of the COOP portfolio.

Enjoyed on tap at brewery with a private tour. Very nice dark brown color. The head was perfect, with great german lace. Nice and balanced chocolate and roasted smell. The Porter was a great and balanced Porter. Not a stout for sure, it was done right and I loved drinking it.

Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 26/09/2009 Hop aroma. Beige head. Black smooth and a little rich on the palate. Fruity with a hint of bitterness in a dry coffee roast finish.

On tap at Tapworks in OKC. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma is heavy with roasted malts and lot of chocolate with some light caramel. Flavor is very roasty with lots of chocolate and some caramel. Finishes dry and thick. Almost like a bitter chocolate milkshake. Tasty brew but a little unbalanced. Pretty good.

Rich notes of coffee, toffee and chocolate truffle run through the aroma. The flavor is predominately rich coffee and chocolate with a nice roasted finish with mild bitter undertones. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Overall a delicious porter.

Pours an opaque dark brown. Thin tan head with decent retention and lacing. Mild aroma of chocolate and roasted malts. Flavor is sweet for a porter with notes of molasses and black licorice. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Not a great stout by any means, but a solid entry for a new brewer.

The pour was dark and turbid with a short tan head that provided average lacing. The aroma is roasted, smoky malts and light chocolate. The flavor is smoky malts, thin coffee, a bit of chocolate and some hops in the background on the finish. The mouthfeel was thin to medium in body. Felt a tad like a homebrew. Slightly unrefined.

Pours with a nice thick creamy head. Aroma Chocolate, Coffee, maybe a hint of carmel. Flavor is outstanding. Delicious Chocolate, Coffee notes of the dark roasted malts that you would expect from a porter.Noticeable sweetness but Very well balanced. Incredible thick and velvety mouth feel. I had this beer by itself, but I imagine this beer would go great with some hearty food or even a chocolate desert! This is an outstanding beer from a new and exciting new brewery in Oklahoma City. Highly recommended!
