Also some metallic notes. Crudely sweet malt. No real hop crispness. Dull aftertaste. Pyobon (271), Sydney, Australia
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 14, 2009 Bottle. Clear very pale gold with no head. Slightly vegetably aroma. Medium body with frothy / creamy carbonation. The flavour has a nondescript sweetness (not really malty) with an unpleasant vegetably taste and a little, short-lived, metallic bitterness in the finish. Not good. mkel07 (526), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 6, 2009 355ml bottle. Clear and sparkling golden amber with a solid white roof of foam. Well carbonated with an aroma of malt, hops and grain. Clean fresh taste with a low level of bitterness. Nothing to get excited about. Good lacing on the glass. davidm (160), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 6, 2009 Bottle 355ml. Not very interesting. Aroma is nice, with malt and apple. Flavour is sweet, with very light bitterness. Palate is thin and watery. Dark yellow in the glass, the head disappears quickly. Muggus69 (517), Sydney, Australia

Not what i’d call a particularly good pilsner. Hint of hop spiciness in there, but quite lean with an unclean sort of finish. Certainly a far cry from the ’real’ Coopers beers, probaly wouldn’t try this again. destroye7 (304), Melbourne, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/20 | Nov 2, 2009 Bottle. Fruity aroma. Clear yellow liquid. Small head, medium carbonation. Somehow disappointing, not enough flavours. I wouldn’t buy again... strings (361), Sydney, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Bottle. Surprisingly ok. Trying it because the bottle shop selection was pretty thin, but this is quite a nice, authentically hoppy and refreshing pilsner. Even made me think of Czech. ComradeK (66), Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2009 355ml bottle. Actually rather good. I was expecting diappointment. As a fan of both proper Czech pilsners and proper top-fermented Coopers, I was expecting some sort of weak-willed halfway effort on both parts. However, this is surprisingly good. Nice initial Saaz bitterness - it opens just like a real pilsner should. The finish is crisp and bitter. A very rewarding lager, just in time for the Australian summer.
