| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 28, 2008 Sweet black malts on the nose, dark fruits, sweet chocolate with hints of coffee in the aroma. Pours very dark brown with reddish edges with a thin tan head. Very light, sweet dark malts, with a crisp bite. The flavor starts out with some vanilla, some hints of coffee, with a bitter chocolate flavor in the end. It seems to be missing something though, tastes more like a porter i’d say.
