Commercial Description:
You want bitter? You got it! Very malty with a strong roast barley flavour. Black as pitch and so thick you could just about eat it with a spoon. An excellent stout.

Coopers, AUSTRALIAN FOR BEER...oops wrong beer. But it sure as hell is better than any Fosters I have ever had! This one is nice...super dark brown almost black color with a brown head. Malty flavors with some chocolate flavor thrown in. Not bad at all!

37.5 cL bottle. Pours black brown with an almost diminished light chocolate brown head. Liqourice and slight rubber roasted malt aroma. Flavour is roasted malt and smooth chocolate following. Light roasted to acid finish.

Pours a dark, dark black color. Aroma is very strong of roasted malt. Flavor is like a bitter, but with lots of roasted coffee and chocolate malt as well. Bottle @ Flying Saucer, Ft. Worth.

Dark brown - lingering small brown head. Oat and malt aroma. Flavorful and easy drinking. Certainly not a big tough stout, but there’s some complexity with slight dark chocolate, dark roasted malts, coffee.

Bottle. [Courtesy of Ungstrup, thanks buddy] Average beige creamy head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Black colour. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavour mild bitter. Bitter chocolate like finish.

Sweet black malts on the nose, dark fruits, sweet chocolate with hints of coffee in the aroma. Pours very dark brown with reddish edges with a thin tan head. Very light, sweet dark malts, with a crisp bite. The flavor starts out with some vanilla, some hints of coffee, with a bitter chocolate flavor in the end. It seems to be missing something though, tastes more like a porter i’d say.
