Aroma – Deep molasses, and cark chocolate aroma with roasted malts
Appearance – Dark brown in color, clear and a thin brown head.
Flavor – Great chocltae and molasses flavors. This beer had flavor to give to the next batch. Great malts used with some sweetness.
Palate – This was a slick and sweet beer to taste and the tounge enjoyed every minute.
Overall –A great stout. This was a deep sweet and rich flavored beer. Not your ordinary stout. I expected more from the hops like a Impy stout. What a great style and beer.

Fine malty taste of chocolate, caramel and a little coffee. Smooth, not particularly thick or creamy. Alcohol well hidden. Won’t be my last of these. BeerloverEJ21 (131), Georgia, USA

Tastes great. A 1-2 punch that doesnt disappoint. Strong of bitter chocolate, malt, black coffee, even some burnt toffee on there. Smooth finish. Can taste the alcohol, but it’s not overpowering. Very good. Adenila (958), Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2007 Pours a pitch black with a tan head with low retention, and some little brown-black bits at the bottom which don’t really look like dead yeast. Exotic, sweet aroma, blackstrap molasses and black patent malt. Lovely and roasty, plenty of chocolate, and notes of coconut milk and toasted coconut flakes. Very creamy body but low in carbonation. Overall a very pleasant beer, with some unusual flavouring. Better than Guinness anyday. aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA
