Aroma was burnt coffee, and I swear I smell bubble gum (why is this) overall a very bitter smell. Taste is almost dusty and when I say almost I mean this beer taste like dust, there is a strange almost berry like flavor hiding in deep swallows, overall the flavor is burnt bitter dust. Very watery thin mouth feel that leaves my mouth feeling dry and cottony. Not a good stout by any stretch, this was a waste of a beer."

Aroma is roasted malts mixed with some light chocolate. Flavor is very roasted at the beginning with a smooth and sweet chocolate flavor underneath. Roasted malts continue through the flavor and leave a roasty and bitter aftertaste. Very smooth. alepig666 (78), Adelaide, Australia

The first mouthful is pretty hard to swallow, but you’ll get used to it, once you acclimatise it’s great. Nice malty chocolate aftertaste. Works great as a shandy if you can’t take the full robust flavour. Can drink it at up to 15 degrees C. Drink 3 longnecks of this and you’ll be utterly rat arsed. You need to be in a real stout mood to drink this, definitely not for pussies, and not sessionable, otherwise at least a 4. Great to have a longneck of this after work, or with a lamb or beef roast. Impressive.
