Commercial Description:
You want bitter? You got it! Very malty with a strong roast barley flavour. Black as pitch and so thick you could just about eat it with a spoon. An excellent stout.

Aroma: Roasted Coffee, Dark Chocolate Appearance: Beautiful black with a medium off white head. Flavor: Not as sweet as I anticipated, mostly bitter with a coffee like finish. Palate: Falls flat up front, but the bitters and coffee finish help the mid to back palate come up strong. Overall: A decent stout, for the $ however, I’ll stick with Guinness Extra Stout.

12.7 oz bottle. Poured a solid black color with a one finger tan head. The aroma was roasted malt, spice and dark fruit, with notes of coffee. The flavor was overly bitter, but contained roasted malt and coffee.

Beautiful black body with a tan head. Stunning roast, malt, coco/coffee, wood, nut and slight spice aromas. Desert-like start comprising of smoky roasts and coco/coffee followed by an addictive bitter woody/nutty/slight spicy middle concluding with a sweet pretty finish. The strong malt aftertaste lingers on to draw you to the next sip. This is a solid stout. Full of persona, the exquisite interplay of all the elements of this brew makes for a wonderful drinking experience. A well-chiseled lean muscular body with an unexpected delicate subtle attitude. Could be creamier and smoother.

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville, CA. Poured a dark black with the smell of roasted malts. Flavor was dominated by coffee and roasted malts. A little over carbonated for my taste.
