Roasty sweet caramel malt and chocolate flavor. A bit thin on the palate. Not bad for a six pack stout. nobadbeer (2), centerville,, Ohio, USA does not count Jul 6, 2008 A stout on steroids- looks, feels, smells and tastes great. A nice blend of bitter and sweet.

I’ve never said that about a stout before; even if it came from Ireland; and you know who I mean. tarc (40), New Jersey, USA Jul 5, 2008 Strong roasted aroma, pours black as pitch, the the is strong but very smooth, not bitter like some stouts. Very drinkable, right now, I wish I had two... rmussman (686), California, USA Jul 3, 2008 Sampled out of a bottle. Pours nice and dark. Has a lot of good malts and roasted flavors.
