Bomber. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells earthy. Tastes earthy with some peppery hints and a watery finish.

22 oz. bottle. I’ve had a few of the Cooper’s Cave beers and was not thrilled with them, so I was not expecting much when I cracked open this bottle. To my surprise, a well crafted brew! Pours a hazy gold with a moderate white head with nice lacing. Light floral hoppy aroma. Initial flavor is slightly sweet followed by some hops bitterness. Not excessively bitter. Crisp finish. By far the best I have sampled thus far from Cooper’s Cave.

Had this one on draught in Glens Falls, New York. An good example of the type. Citrus fruits in the nose along with flowers and hops, excellently balanced in the finish with notes of apple and orange. Very good.

Tap: Very bitter aroma and taste. Decent head, golden color. It’s not very well balanced as it’s bitterness is overpowering in a bad way. There was nothing else to the beer.

Hazy dark yellow with a thin white head. earthy dirty aroma with a bit of spice (or maybe chlorine). Starts and ends lightly bitter with a weak ending. Watery fizzy mouthfeel.

April 2004. Light golden ale with malts and mild hops. Dont know if i had the same one as my colleagues., but i found this to be the best at Coppers that day (or maybe someone spit in my glass, we were sharing...)
