It’s roasty toasty and yet clean. It’s dark brown in color. It’s flavor is roasty and flavor packed with malt and honey. It has a satisfying finish. I would like this on a cold day. gam (1112), brisbane, Australia

A little bitterness, and to its credit, not much sweetness. Thin, however. Not the best beer, but perfectly drinkable. A richer body would make this beer much more enjoyable. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Bottle (375ml). Poured an extremely dark brown with a dense, light brown head which lasted well. Aroma was somewhat smoky with roasted chocolate malts, light coffee and faint licorice. Flavor was of roasted malts, faint coffee, milky chocolate, mixed nuts with a smoky/dry finish. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, a watery texture, dry mouthfeel and a short finish.
