Light nuttiness,
(like the skin of a pecan) with a muddled end note. Screech99 (34), Australia

No great flavour and lacking the sediment and flavour of the other coopers products. JoeMcPhee (5025), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Very grassy, hay-like aroma with a touch of noble hop spice. Flavour is a bit dusty and stale but there is some candyish sweetness. Adjuncts are noticible. I’ve had worse, but I’ve had a lot better. This is pretty much on par with Tooheys new in my opinion, not abrasive like VB, although it does have some light vegetable and perhaps a tiiiny bit more hop flavour. Why bother Coopers? You couldn’t just stick to what’s best (i.e. your ales and stouts), but for some reason had to offer this completely featureless, totally average bland macro-style pale lager. It’s alright I guess, but compared to what you are best known for, it’s a disappointment.
