Somewhat bland, honeyish and a little biscuity. Seems well-enough-made but lacks guts. DuffMan (2764), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2005 Dark gold, average head, little lace. Solid malt aromas, a little hoppy, a little metallic. Solid malt palate, mild floral notes, crisp dry finish with some cardboard lingering after. I found this really drinkable and refreshing. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2005 Bottled. Poured an average head that didn’t last very long, with minimal lacing down the sides. At typical Australian beer temperature this hasn’t got a lot of aroma, but brief notes of hops. Flavour follows this line as well and not a lot of finish, so not much to rave about. omhper (12229), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2005 Updated: Jul 14, 2005Bottled. Clear bronze colour, brief head. Aroma of crystal malt with light notes of yeast and grassy hops. Lovely bready malt flavour, similar to their sparkling ale, but the mouthfeel is less... sparkling. The finish is grassy asd has some bitterness. I like this easy going ale. oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland

Malty flavour with hints of hops, hay and butter. Also some vegetably notes are present. Dry finish. sayravai (3733), Helsinki, Finland

Sourish and earthy, quite plain aroma. Pretty sour and acidic, slightly buttery and moderately malty flavor. Light to medium-bodied, quite refreshing palate. Feels like keller/landbier. gulf690 (21), Australia
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Apr 1, 2005 I expected something, but got nothing from this. Looked like a weak bubbled (amber) water in the glass and wouldn’t hold a head. Nose was dull and had a cardboard tone to it. Very thin on the palate and absolutely no follow through. Bottle was in date, but I suspect it had been treated poorly (or Coopers got it really wrong) highlandlad (1258), Sydney, Australia
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 10, 2005 Feels like another attempt to break into the wallets of those who refuse to pay less than $6 for a premium beer in a city pub on Friday nights. Intense gold colour (clear because it’s filtered). 1cm white head that hung around and left a little lace. Typical Coopers nose but much more muted. Some cardboardy malt and pear characters. Creamy mouthfeel but fairly thin-bodied. More cardboard malt, soapy notes and a very subdued finish. God, it’s dull. (Bottle, best before 15/8/05)
