Commercial Description:
Note: Replaced in 2003 by New Light (later known as Regency Light).

Coopers Light is a low alcohol beer which displays plenty of character without having to resort to flavour additives. The strong, all-malt style belies its low alcohol content. This beer has proven a popular, full-flavoured alternative to full strength beers.

pretty good as far as light beers go, but still nothing to write home about.

Don't bother, you compromise your eminent standing in Aussie brewing. No malt, body. hop presence etc.

Medium gold clear under a smallish short lasting white head. Very faint stale hops aroma.Thin watery body with a hint of biscuity grainy malt and chemical bitter flavours. Very ordinary stuff.

Slight aroma of malt & some initial bitterness which quickly evaporates leaving no taste. "Full-flavoured" my arse.

I thought with the caliber of coopers they could of done better with this brew. Slightly lacking a bit of flavour, but to it’s defence what light has lot’s of flavour.

Delicate summery perfume, hay,(rye) and musty paper. Very under-rated and great with chicken.

Not a bad choice if you are after a light beer.
