However as a midstrenght ale in a very ordinary lineup of midstrenght beers in the Australian market, this aint too bad. Signature coopers nose and flavour dominated by yeasty fruitiness, quite thin body. Drinkable if you are forced to be driving drunken mates around the place. chonga65 (13), portland, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2005 Bottle: Initial good sized head which disappeared almost instantly leaving no lacing. Bottle conditioned with home brew type cloudiness. Slight fruity aroma. I was pleasantly surprised by the slight apricot aftertaste. All in all not a bad mid strength. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Sep 29, 2005 Reading mild ale, I didn’t think it necessarily meant low alcohol. Cloudy orange amber with a piss-poor head that disappeared faster than you can say "damn, it’s only 3.5%abv". The weak aroma contained some citrus, mango and a bit of caramel malt. The flavour is quite bland, with not much to distinguish it from water. Palate is virtually non-existant. Really, what the hell is the point of a mild ale. And what is Cooper’s doing muddying it’s rep making one. Stew41 (1054), Caulfield, Australia
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 12, 2005 Glowing hazy orange...quick striking. House nose, spicy malts, screams Coopers. More of the same in the mouth; clean, slightly spicy, yeasty. Quite sharp and refreshing but unfortunately lacks palate weight. I guess that’s a consequence of the style. I think Cooper’s is trying to have a decent go at a low(ish) ABV beer and in the Australian market I think they have succeeded. JoeMcPhee (5025), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Flavour and body are very thin. Pretty poor. DuffMan (2770), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 6, 2005 Aroma: POR Aussie lagery smell (for an ale). Appearance: hazy orange/brown with an soapy bubbly off white head. Flavour: some POR flavours, yeast and a hint of carbon. Thin not appealing mullet (801), Melbourne, Australia
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 22, 2005 Nice clear gold colour, good head retention, BIG dark chunks of yeast. Banana and spaghetti aroma - typical Coopers really. Quite thin and watery, yeastiness is the main flavour (not in a bad way). Pretty light on for character, but I guess that’s what they were going for unfortunately.
