Pretty light and thin. Not much in the way of character with some grain hints. donfardz64 (420), Wellington, New Zealand

Wasn’t impressed but thanks all the same. Too fizzy. Duff probably drinks this the bogan twat. tmacrock (4), Chicago, Illinois, USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 31, 2008 Now, this is a great australian brew. Sad to see it has such poor ratings on RateBeer. I enjoy Cooper Pale Ale.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2008 Bottle from Tesco. Hazy gold in colour with a slight white head. Sweet malt and honey aroma with some grassy hops. Flavour was sweet with an industrial, metallic finish. Not for me. wheresthepath (547), Buckinghamshire, England
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 20, 2008 [375ml bottle from Tesco’s Reading] Strongly and unpleasantly carbonated, yet virtually no head. Tastes weak and watery at first, but by the end a hint of grassiness, a little lemon and a reasonable wedge of malt had come through. A slight background bitterness is balanced quite well against a sweetness in the foretaste. However, I had to stretch my tastebuds a little to pick out all this; overall this is more reminiscent of a pale lager than many of the pale lagers out there, and the over-the-top fizziness makes it unpleasant to drink. I feel that the good brewers of Burton would be quite horrified that Coopers are trying to link this to them! MesandSim (5863), London, Greater London, England

Hazy golden with a dirty brown tinge and a head that vanishes almost instantly. Slight burnt plastic but some reasonable hops just about sort it. An oily fatty note lets it down further. Faint bitterness in the finish. Not great.
