A very weak hop presence in the nose with flavors of grass, honey and grain. A very watery finish. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 25, 2008 12 oz. bottle poured into pint glass- poured cloudy pale golden yellow, medium carbonation, white head slowly disappeared. Very light aroma of yeast, grass, lemon, hops. Hits the mouth with a very thin body, hops and malt are present in it, finish fades away very quickly, extremely watery overall. Very disappointed, and this was from a fresh bottle ! cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 25, 2008 A sparkling golden yellow color with lively carbonation and a fizzy white head. Crisp grassy malt with a touch of lemon in the aroma. Light bodied and snappy. Dry, refreshing finish. Easy malt flavor, light and easy. Balancing hops, not much presence just enough to even the taste. A touch of lemon zest. Fresh dry ale, it’s plain and simple. NJBeerman013 (783), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Bottle. A standard, unimpressive, yet drinkable blond ale. Clean, clear, amber in color with a pure white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma. A good hop zing style flavor. beerhandy (195), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA

The beer pours a cloudy yellow color with no head.minimal carbonation. It had a very mild grainy, malty sweet taste , light bodied but decent presence on the palate. Mild hop flavor to finish.
Would have been much better with more carbonation. Aug 2004 Wulfstan (509), California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Updated: May 28, 2008This was ok, but not up to the calibre of the wonderful Cooper’s Sparkling Ale. It’s a slightly hazy gold with a medium white head steadily dissipating to a very thin, but lasting, head. The aroma is malty-yeasty bread dough and wet green grass. The taste is light, but persistent grain with a brief sweetness followed by definite grassy bitterness and flavour, then a light toastyed grain finish. The start is slightly creamy but the finish dry and hoppy, with a faint bubblegum element, like somewhat bland, bitter wheat ale. Overall, all flavours are subdued, but it holds up well to bread and cheese. It’s pleasant and has some complexity, but too bland and not really my style. EKGoldings (447), Radford, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Looks and tastes like a middle of the road homebrew pale ale. Nothing great, nothing terrible, just moderate malt taste with bottle conditioned complexity.
