| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 16, 2007 Looks and tastes like a middle of the road homebrew pale ale. Nothing great, nothing terrible, just moderate malt taste with bottle conditioned complexity. djd07 (755), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 2, 2007 Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy pale golden color with a small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a light malt with citrus and lemon. Decent lacing on the glass. The taste is a sweet lemon citrus with a bitter finish and a bit watery. A decent golden ale from Coopers. Sigmund (2303), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Updated: Dec 13, 2007375 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Also bought at Vaaland Ølutsalg, Bryne. Bottle conditioned, sediment in bottle. Pale golden colour, slightly hazy, large head. Very nice and fruity aroma, moderately spicy. The flavour has also spicy and fruity notes, slightly more rounded than their Sparkling Ale. Inspired by English (Burton-on-Trent) pale ales, but there seems also to be a "Belgian" touch here. Very nice and drinkable. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA

Medium to light mouthfeel and a bit astringent at the end. Refreshing but a little rough pale ale. tarjei (1762), Bryne, Norway

Bottle: Kind of a Pilsner and lager aroma, with some toasty malts, and a hint of bitter hopps. Poured a straw/yellow/light brown color with a small, off-white head that diminished quickly. Chock full of medium-sized particles. Cloudy. Sparkling. Flavor is a bit sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of some hops, some sweet malts, barley, sugar, and honey. Light to medium body. Watery, thin texture. Lively carbonation. Sweet barley finish. Overall, a weak Pale Ale. LordCrabapple (83), Merseyside, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2007 This is a fine beer, and very lightly flavoured. A vague honey sweetness. Complements the sparkling ale. Subtle, yet tasty. I can see why Americans don’t like this one.
