Bottle conditioned this is quite like a homebrew (especially when rolled along the bar). For some reason I was not able to get a single one to hold it’s head, my glass I think.
The aroma is light and malty, no real trace of hops that are worth mentioning and a flavour to match... but for some reason the flavour is so much better! Thick on the palate also a little like a homebrew and oh so tasty... got to go get me another. BelgianBeerGal (1298), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Unclear dark yellow color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light hoppy, fruit, light yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Has a bit of hoppiness to enjoy but is overall a bit too sweet and lacking much character. swoopjones (1917), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Coopers pale ale is a bit salty with some citrus in it, like a salty lemon mixed with beer. It’s quite a nice effect, many people weren’t impressed on this page but actually I liked it. I don’t know, it might be my individual taste, but I would have it regularly if possible, although where I am it is expensive. Still, a great beer. jeg (115), Austin, Texas, USA
