Commercial Description:
Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.
"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

[Bottle, thanks Brewfiend] Aroma is wheat with very faint hops. Thin. Short finish. No need to go too in depth about this one, it’s bad and should be avoided.

I think I’d rather drink a Budweiser. Aroma was average ... as good as this stinker gets. Appearance was hazy straw ... not unpromising, but misleading. Thin, maltless ale, thin in the mouth, with a terrible finish of grass, skunk, metalics, cheese, and after a few minutes, vomit. Just freaking awful.

THOUGHTS: Smelled and tasted very Brittish. Good, quality ale, but nothing special. TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a hazy, medium orangey yellow with thinly spaced tiny body particles. It was bottle conditioned. The head was small and white and mostly lasted leaving fair lacing. The aroma was light malt, moderate hops and moderate to heavy yeast. Ther was othe moderate fruityness when warmer. There was also a little stale beer aroma that kept me from rating the aroma higher. The flavor was lightly fruity and yeasty with a bit of metallic notes in the finish which had an average duration. The light to medium body was oily with fizzy carbonation and a metallic finish.

Bottle. Muddy golden coloration, with a discrete white head. No taste. Weak aroma. Average carbonation.

Very ordinary...very watery and nothing distinguishable about it whatsoever. Still better than drinking xxx or vb at a bar

Bottle. Light malty and sweet (maybe a hint of perfume)? A small white head, fully diminishing. The body is yellow and cloudy with little particles. The flavour is sweet at the beginning, later on more acidic. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation and a light astringent finish. A summer beer, refreshing taste of citrus.

Coopers pale is probably the best beer you can get for the price in Australia, and it is quite frustrating to blind taste it. Its appearance is very pale and pleasantly unclear. The nose is a bit dull, and there are not much hopflavour in the nose. The beer showes some pleasant fruity and malty tones on the palate, and it finishes fresh, but not very bitter.
