Commercial Description:
Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.
"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

(37.5cl bottle) Almost cloudy, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foamy head. Moderately sweet pale malty aroma with notes of pineapple and sour dough, accompanied by traces of flowery hops. Slightly bitter and tart flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malt-character, subtle fruity taste with a herbal and slightly flowery hoppy bite. Very dry and quite bitter hoppy finish with fruity accents in the aftertaste. Drinkable and undemanding (09.VIII.09).

Wow, there are some harsh calls about this beer. It’s an Aussie pale ale, and a bit of a classic. Maybe it’s because I’ve just had a giant malt bomb before this, but I find it citrussy, refreshing, and a pleasure to my palate. There’s nothing wrong with this beer, it’s just maybe not the most exciting thing on the planet. Tasty though.

small frothy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing longevity. sparkling thick yellow body. Aroma: moderate hoppy, light bread, apple and pear. IF: light bitter. FF: moderate bitter. Long duration. Palate: medium body, dry texture, lively carbonation and chalky finish. Great hoppy bitterness. I guess its much more of a Pale Ale, as it is displayed in its label than a Golden/Blond.37s

Hazy orange colour with a pretty weak and bubbly head, granular sediment. Metallic, citric aroma with fuel notes. The flavour is hidden by an over-carbonation: sweet honey and toasty malts, with yeast and peach fruitiness. A dry finish. The palate is quite thin and watery, the mouthfeel is merely pushed a little by the aforementioned carbonation. Not too good.
