Commercial Description:
Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.
"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

Consumed at The Rake, Borough Market - the smallest pub in London with relaxing outdoor seating. 375ml bottle. Cloudy, pale golden. Fresh citrus aroma. Taste of coriander and moderate sweetness of banana. Sediments at the bottom. Easy drinking. Crispated and watered (16.09.2006).

Bottle from Beerhandy! Chris, you da man! This one fills the glass with a hazy yellow liquid (bottle conditioned?) with tiny yeast particles floating. Head is short lived, and bleached white. Aromas are mildly yeasty and bready, and mild mannered hops that are well behaved. FLavours are funky yeast with some semi-sweet bready malts/cookie, and subtle soft hops (like fuggels?). Finishes quick, and fairly spritzy. Session style.

Pale orange color, medium size particles. Small white head. Smooth sweet smell, hoppy with hints of grapefruit. Typical aussie flavor, bit herbal and flowey with a bitter finish. Nicely carbonated.

Bottle, Liquid Solutions. Dark gold color that looks like it was mixed with pink grapefruit. Lots of sediment floating about. Sweet almost sticky aroma. A hint of hoppy bitterness as well. Light sweet citric fruitiness. A little bit of hoppiness. Very drinkable if not exciting.
