| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Dec 11, 2005 Old gold colour with no head and quite a lot of sediment. Attractive, sweet malt aroma, but that’s your lot. The taste is thin and watery and there is little bitterness. Is it worth sending this stuff half way round the world? pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Dec 7, 2005 Bottle: A murky goldish yellow brought about by the fermentation style. The color is actually what I thought of a long time ago when I heard the term "pale ale," although this is called a Blonde Ale on this site. The aromas are nasty and skunky. The tastes are like drinking from the derriere of a skun as well. There was a slight peach flavor combined with dirty dishwater. The aftertaste was slightly fruit and a bit tangy. But after you drink this really thin feeling, low carbonation beer, you think to yourself, "Besides the initial nastiness, this beer really has no flavor." Then you find yourself pouring the rest down the drain wishing you had something better to drink. Unfortunately, it was the last beer in a multi six-pack I put together. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2005 This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized bubbles that left behind a hazy thick with suspended yeast particles body that was carbonated and light brown in color. It had a malty yeasty aroma and a tingly mouth feel at the start which mellowed in the finish. The flavor contained malty hoppy yeasty notes that favored the hops. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 18, 2005 Tan brown with no head and lots of floaties, only surpassing the minimum because it hasn’t been filtered. Sweet malt aroma, that is either a bit skunky or is suffering from the scourge of ringwood. Fairly neutral flavour with a little bitterness in the finish. The palate is very thin, with some biting bitterness assailing the tongue. This brew pale’s (pun intended) in comparison to Coopers’ superior stout and sparkling ale. thelandstander (46), Davis, California, USA
