Sourish and dry-fruity, lemony-hoppy, slightly stuffy aroma with some acidic apple fruitiness revealed after a while. Dryish, slightly sour and acidic, neutral, softly aromatic-hoppy, earthy and fruity flavor. Light to medium-bodied, dryish and mildly acidic, somewhat thin palate with smooth carbonation. Quite earthy, balanced and unsurprising countryside brew. Not exactly pretty to look at. donrajin (233), Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, USA

I like pale ales, I like blond ales, and I even like unfiltered/bottle conditioned ales (i.e. AleSmith Extra Pale). This beer tastes like none of the above. Its almost as if it was pre-skunked. Dry with a sour aftertaste. Keep this down-under, mate. roder60 (1023), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 2, 2005 Pours a cloudy pale yellow with all sorts of shit floating through it and a very very small amount of white head. Aroma is hay and yeasty puffed up dough (i worked in a pizza shop for 5 years and this is definitely what it smells like). Dry and flat with mostly watery taste. Overall, not much different than a dasani with lemon. DuffMan (2763), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 1, 2005 It seems that the sweetheart beer for this brewery is the sparkling ale, but I liked this one better. The label describes it as being "lighter in feel", but I don’t agree. I can’t put my finger on it, but I think it just comes across as better balanced to me. oh6gdx (8839), Vasa, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 25, 2005 Bottled. Hazy orange colour, not much head. Sweet malty aroma with some caramellish hints. Hoppy and malty flavour with some bready hints. Bitter finish and aftertaste. A bit dry finish. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2005 A fizzy white head and a hazy straw beer isn’t a pretty one that’s for sure. Nose is yeasty hay. Taste is similar. Not bitter, not sweet. Nice and malty, Clean up front but lingers rather sadly as old hay. I like the yeastiness, but not much else. Extra credit for being a classic brewery and brew. omhper (12227), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2005 Bottled. Hazy straw colour. Grassy with bready malt aroma. Dryish with typical Copper’s yeast character and crystal malt flavour. Well balanced with medium bitterness. Copper’s house flavour really makes their beer unique. I like that!
