I was disappointed in the huge chunks that floated throughout and would never settle. Maybe this was an old bottle, as it did have some dust on it. I don’t mind cloudy and I don’t mind yeasty, but I have never liked chunky style beer... especially in a pale ale. Poured a light golden with no special nose except sourness and a little skunk. Decent mouthfeel with nice carbonation, but I had to sift through the huge bits of shit with my tongue to get there. Not great flavor... not much to speak of. I didn’t even finish it. I’ll try a real one when I visit Australia in March and re-evaluate. Dorwart (1814), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Color is a medium golden yellow with lots of little floatie bits in there. Slightly fizzy in the mouth. Bit of bitterness with more corn and malts. Boring. Finish is slightly bitter, dry and a bit fizzy. Expected more from this "pale ale". heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 9, 2004 Light gold body color wth little head. Aroma has oranges, honey and some peanuts. The taste has a little dustiness and dry character. Some orange peel. Also has a bread crust in the taste once it warms. A nice light pale ale, even though it is described as a golden ale. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 4, 2004 An unoffensive pale ale of the english variety. Musty and underwhelming, hop heads and SNPA fans will be disappointed but on a hot afternoon in Fl it would pass muster. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA

Mild tangy flavor, very easy to drink, maybe this cold I have is making my taste buds inop??
Very good though I guess I would get it again.

Musty, mildly acrid aroma with lots of woody, bitter-style malt and yeast. Very drinkable, but fairly understated. Mildly tangy, light tartness, moderate bitterness, dry, with biscuit/cracker starch qualities. I’d really like to try this with some sharp cheddar, because I think that it’d do well. The finish was a bit disappointing and Saaz-like. lizzy (44), Saint Louis, Missouri, USA
