| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2004 Pours a golden color with a slight haze an a floatie or two. Aroma is light and spritzy, with sweet fruit and mild hop spice. Flavor is sweet and light again, medium fruit flavor with a mild and dry finish. Very mild and drinkable, though there is very little happening here to encourage a second purchase. clong83 (243), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2004 Hoppy nose. Yeast in the bottle. Hazy color, probably due to yeast, I did a crappy job of pouring it. Decent head. Taste is that of a very standard pale ale. The flavor is a little low on this one, but it has a nice dry and hoppy finish. I like this style of beer, so maybe I am biased and being generous, but I thought it was pretty decent. Would go pretty well on a hot summer’s day. madsberg (4966), Søborg, Denmark
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 18, 2004 Bottled: Hazy yellow coloured. Small white head. Aroma and flavour is very bland and watery. Some flowery notes are there. Is light dry and quite refreshing, but all in all a boring exampel of the style. Stew41 (1052), Caulfield, Australia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 6, 2004 Nice foamy head, almost creamy upon pouring. Dirty yellow, tending to orange in colour. Lively nose, some fruity notes, a little citrus. Decent mouthful, plenty of zing, and very refreshing. No world beater with flavour, just a fraction bland, although there are some nice hoppy notes at the back palate that firm the beer up a little, and again this drives the ’refreshing’ element. At about $2 a pop I reckon you can do worse. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 3, 2004 Hazy orange color, under a small white head. Aroma is fresh and fruity, notes of peach apricot, some citrus. Mellow mouthfeel, decent showing of hops, but very minimal bitterness, and a lackluster finish. Pleasant and sweet, but nothing really sticks out. A fine session ale, if you don’t mind unassuming, easy-going flavor in your mug.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 26, 2004 Fruity aroma, hazy pour from bottle fermenting, pale hazy yellow. Not much head. Not much to it... Tastes like a mediocre homebrew to me. And perhaps pale ales are a different breed down under, but where are the hops?? There is something pleasent inm the finish, but this is a rare beer in which that is the only strikingly redeeming factor. I really wanted to like this beer... I thought tomyself when I paid 9 bucks for a six (!!!) finally an OZ bear that isn’t more mass market swill.. but if I had the choice betwen this and a fosters... it would be easily the fosters that won (especially the bitter ... ;) madquacker (719), Canberra ACT, Australia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 30, 2004 Citrus and lemon taste. Cloudy appearance with abit of sediment. I prefer this to the sparking version which I find too heavy. Cld be improved with abit more zest. Cobra (1066), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2004 12.7 fluid oz. brown stubbie bottle. Freahness date of 28.11.05 inked on the side of the bottle. Damn twist off cap. I hate twist offs.
Anyway, it poured out a pale golden yellow color, with a minimal white foamy head. I left the yeast in the bottle, because I didn’t feel like drinking it today. Watery tasting, thin body, minimal flavors and aromas. What aromas there are smell like weak, stale beer.
Not a top notch pale ale in my book.
