Commercial Description:
Bottle & keg; Unfiltered.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast.
"With its fruity character, and robust flavour, Coopers Pale Ale is perfect for every occasion. Naturally fermented in the 'Burton-on-Trent' style, a secondary fermentation creates the trademark sediment that gives 'Pale' its fine cloudy appearance. This cloudy residue can be stirred through the beer by tipping or rolling the bottle before drinking."

Not as good as the stout or the Sparkling Ale, but still an enjoyable drink.

A very light looking and tasting pale ale. Malts are thin and sweet; right down the middle of the tongue; surrounded by a mixture of carbonation and light hops. Body was too thin and the sweetness began to taste like artificial sweetner. I like the Sparkling Ale better.

Bottle: I used to love this when I was 18. Pours a light orange/copper with no real head and softdrink-like bubbles. Aroma of POR hops and slgiht biscuit notes. Flavour thin, watery and dissapointing. Some malt and hop flavours with a slight crystal background. Very dissapointed.

Bottled, BB 14-04-05. Cloudy orange coloured, lots of small yeast particles. Weak aroma, some malts perhaps. Sweet and watery flavour, some malts. Watery and unimpressive.

I had been wanting to try this one for a really long time, and it was good but not upto par, and I was kind of disappointed. Not as hoppy as I was looking for, but has a nice malt backbone, balanced acidity and relatively easy to drink. Very clean and crisp in the finish.

Poured with yeast. Cloudy brownish yellow, lots of floaties. No aroma to speak of. Floral hops, slightly sweet. Crisp hop finish. Nice, easy drinkin’ Summer beer.

I am truely amazed this beer is rated so poorly. I thought it was great and I typically don’t enjoy pales. This had a great fruit aroma and flavor. A sweet aftertaste made it a great desert. Maybe I enjoyed it more because I didn’t know its reputation. Give it another shot with an open mind.

Hazy pale color. Very light, boring, poor beer (I would say… lager), with a light eucalyptus touch.
