blackmurder (164), sadf, Hawaii, USA Aug 2, 2007 I have always heard that Coopers was the best thing to come out of Australia. Well, this isn’t really a shining example of great beer. In fact, this beer was quite insipid yet very drinkable. I could see myself throwing 2 or 3 of these down my neck before boredom sets in. Overall this is a decent pale ale but I would advise you to find something else.
LilBeerDoctor (623), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy light orange with a small white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and lemon, light fruits, and flowery hops. Flavor is quite sweet with a sharp spicy carbonation bite in the finish. Some tropical fruit and citrus. Weak, watery palate. Not bad tasting per se, but the palate is lacking. fredandboboflo (617), East Setauket, New York, USA Sep 23, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of pale malts, citrus (esp. lime), banana, a champagny quality. Flavor fruitily sweet with lots of banana, some grass and grains. Somewhat odd sharp carbonation over a relatively weak mouthfeel. Not bad at all.
