beercamel (83), Chicago, Illinois, USA Nov 6, 2009 pours bright golden yellow. Finger haed and bubbly with the classic coopers carbonation. This beer lacks from the beggining on body and flavor has a good aroma though. The nose is malts and has yeasty characteristics, the undertones are bready and hints of grain and salts are in the taste. dm9831 (1167), Monee, Illinois, USA Sep 28, 2009 clear gold, medium fluffy white head, some lace. aroma is grainy, with perhaps a whiff of malt. flavor has a grainy backbone, with a hint of sweet malt coming later. medium bodied, clean finifh. better than i expectedwith no ron syrup feel to it. i guess they know how to brew mild beer in austrailia. bottle @ outback steakhouse in orland park. thornecb (1736), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Sep 11, 2009 Pours bright yellow into a shaker. Bright white head recedes at a medium pace to coat surface leaving spider lacing. Sour cookie aromas. Crisp and grainy malts upfront. Slightly sour bitter finish. Taint awful. nate2g (1034), Brisbane, Australia Aug 22, 2009 Draught at Fox Hotel, Melbourne. Clear golden with small white head. Grainy, citrus and grassy hop aroma and flavour. Some sourness coming through. Low bitterness and really just a nothing beer. Stick with the Coopers ales for better quality. brewski519 (395), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA Aug 19, 2009 From a bottle this pours a golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of hops, citrus and grass. Taste was much more hoppy and citrusy than a traditional lager - also has some corn and grain flavor to it. Nothing great - but not bad either. cammo99 (2), Adelaide, Australia does not count Aug 7, 2009 This beer smells grassy. Quite an offensive taste at first but you, surprisingly, get used to it after a while. Quite easy to drink as it’s very light. Not a great lager, and probably the worst of Coopers’ full-strength range. Drinkable, but just another Aussie macro-lager. I would only suggest this beer on a very hot day, it’s the middle of winter at the moment and I wish I bought the Sparkling Ale instead. dalek123 (103), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 4, 2009 Pours pale gold with an average white, fizzy head. Nose is malt, grass, and light yeast. Taste is malt, bread, and minimal hops. This one is much more malty than most pale lagers. Decent, refreshing, but nothing spectacular. NoiZe (1288), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Jun 21, 2009 Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Malty aroma. Sweet, fresh, malty.
