Bottle from Aussie pal. Pours a clear pale yellow colour with a medium white head. Malt aroma with raisons? Flavor is average pale lager with a hint of hops.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Typical light lager. Pale pour, little mouth feel. Slight bitterness. Medium caramel malt flavor.

Bottle at an Outback. Golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet with some light malts and a bit of hop bitterness. Flavor had some solid malt and decent hop flavor - kind of a lighter Sam Adams Premium Lager. Not bad.

Any lager with “premium” on the label I get very skeptical….Golden Anniversary is a premium lager (not that there is anything wrong with that). I got introduced to Coopers’ products recently and enjoy them, so I was eager to try their “real Australian lager.” It pours a pale golden with a beautiful picture perfect white head; it looks great in a dimple glass. It is a all malt lager that tastes similar to Victory’s Lager (with a little less kick in the back of the throat). Light carbonation, slightly sweet grainy malt notes. A very easy to drink; a decent lager. Buy a six pack or case to surprise some Molson drinkers.

So I guess Cooper’s has finally bent the knee to the pressures of the mass market. This is average pale lager fare all the way, albeit clean in the ingredients and palate.
