The flavors although were good with hoppy and fuity auras, however they were so overpowered by the watered-downness of the beer the good flavors basically went unnoticed. Pours an off-golden with a soapy white head and some noise from the fizz. Taste is a bit stale, with mild not-quite-bready maltiness and faint bitterness. Some sweetness. Thin body, dry aftertaste, and inoffensive. Not something I’m going to be having again any time soon, but still one of the better Pale Lagers. cb23 (97), St. louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 22, 2008 Poured a light golden color with small white head. Smelled of yeast and hints of hops and banana? Body of mostly malt, slightly caramel with some citrusy notes. A pretty good beer. Especially for a pale lager. Way overpriced though, MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 10, 2008 Bottle (375ml). Poured a golden yellow with a small, frothy, white head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of honey and sweet malts, with hints of caramel, grassy hops and a touch of butterscotch. Flavor was of sweet honey with cornish malts, grassy hops (light) and some lemon. Light bodied, lively carbonation, watery texture, creamy mouthfeel and a short finish. gunhaver (1025), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma of cider, banana, and of course, corn. Flavor is green apples, banana, grapefruit, chalk. Kinda decent. Watery, decent bite, drinkable. Wouldn’t get it again, but an upgrade over American pale lagers. mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 28, 2008 Bottle from World Market. Pours a clear golden color. Grassy aroma. Some malt and a little acidity. Somewhat sweet flavored. Some malty bitterness. An almost herbal quality as well. Pretty decent for a pale lager. mmmbeer (754), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 25, 2008 12 oz bottle poured into lager glass- poured transparent thin golden yellow, medium carbonation, white head quickly dissolved, a tiny bit of lacing. Very light aroma of malt and yeast. Hits the mouth with a thin body, malt does hit the mouth nicely for being a pale lager, finish goes away with a tiny amount of hops. Ok, but much better than the majority of USA swill. JohnnyOS (646), Golden, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 20, 2008 Pours golden yellow with average white head. Light malt and fruit aroma with some yeast. Flavor matches aroma, minus the fruit. Average lager.
