Slightly yeasty aroma but otherwise not much to report. Quite sugar-sweet with some caramel and a kind of sherbet character. Blah. theread (51), Wagga Wagga, Australia

Sweet and a funny taste to begin with with a bit of bitterness and odd taste after. OK. Cheers all eczematic (1198), Sydney, Australia
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Feb 5, 2004 surprisingly malty, but still thin. sweet in a stale cardboardy way, watery, with a bit of POR bitterness that jumps out and then recedes into flabby cheese-pawpaw finish. a slightly less chemically version of tooheys red. bluevegie (2215), Perth, Australia

| 0.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Nov 11, 2003 The nondescript blurb is backed up by the beer. With words that refer to chill filtered beer and the reference to draught beer means that you are looking at a fair dinkum dud. The nose is musty and there is no body of note at all. I hate it when you burp DURING the drinking of a beer and then feel the afterburn in the dry back palate. If you drank it out of a dimpled mug as suggested, you would be the same thing, perhaps without the dimple. OlJuntan64 (1267), Perth, Australia
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 30, 2003 Very faintly hazy pale gold with medium size shortlish lasting creamy yellow head. Faint eggshells, soap, asprin and stale bitter aroma. Thin dry body. Medium intensity short stale bitter start fades to shades of faint soft watery malt back to harshish bitter finish and after taste. Few redeeming features. I find it hard to rate - Hmmm is the "Adhesive tape, melted rubber and faint floral sweet hops aroma" of the Old Draught more interesting than this one or not?
