Commercial Description:
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Bottle---Large white head on a gold body and a large amount of carbonation. Some citrus aroma and taste with a bit of hops thrown in. Not bad, but easily forgetable. Produce place.

Bottle. Pours with a largish white head that collapses but leaves some decent lacing. Clear golden body. Aroma of straw, grass honey and ovens at a bakery. Taste is stale and a bit skunky with some light fruits. Fizzy mouth.

Bottle from Oddbins. Poured clear dark gold with non-existent head. Alcohol in the aroma but little else. The taste was so nondescript I chucked the sediment in to try to improve things - fat chance. Where does the sparkling tag come from? Very flat on the tongue and thin tasting. Possibly a bad bottle but I can’t imagine risking another.

Cloração avermelhada e densa, com espuma suave e duradoura. Paladar frutado, puxando para o amrago.

Pours orange yellow with a small, short lived head. Bready, slightly sour aroma. The flavour was a bit fruity, but unpleasantly sour. Watery

Tried this beer in 05. Was pretty sweet and a little tart. Soda-like carbonation. It was good at the time, but I would lioke to try again for better noting.

Bottle, 375 ml. Pours cloudy amber orange, with the distinctive presence of sediment for a top-fermented beer. Little-to-no head (perhaps too cold for it in the Northern Hemisphere!), and delicate lacing. Decent nose of mild hops, and some toffee. More toffee on the palate, with citrus too (mainly notes of apple), comforting mouthfeel. Decent beer.
