Commercial Description:
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Bottle, 5.8%. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. Lemony aroma. The flavour is quite bready, tastes a bit old, but is not past BB date. The flavour is also citric and quite malty.

Pour hazy amber with a big snappy head. Orange and cotton candy aroma. Flavor was sweet cotton candy like malts, orange citrus hops, and a bit of grain. Finished slightly dry.

375ml bottle shared with Geir at Brew Wharf Yard, London. Amber-gold body under a thin, white head. Cool, fruity smell. Citric hops and soft, sweet malts in flavour. Dry ending. Lively carbonated. Refreshing and medium bodied, but rather too sweet and unvaried (11.08.2008).

Possibly the best Australian-brewed beer available. Dark gold in colour, with a reasonable head. Typical top-fermenter characteristics - full-flavoured with a long attractive finish. An extremely high-quality beer.

12 oz. bottle. Thin head, murky pale yellow color, slight hop nose, fairly reasonable tongue feel, not much flavor with a slight bitter finish. I have tried it for the last time.

Pours hazy yellow with light head. Nose is slightly fruit/sweet. Taste is very light but avoids the hops with a rise of mid taste fruit. lots of carbonation.
