The aroma is grassy, cardboard, sweet, wet hay. The flavor is a tad bitter, sweet, grassy. After a while the alcohol and body shows, once I broke it down it wasn’t so bad. A decent bitterness to it, not too bad. HonkeyBra (1349), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Pours a cloudy golden color with thin head and lots of carbonation. Since it’s unfiltered, it has a cool look to it. The aroma is apples, dough, yeast, spice. It tastes fruity, crisp and dry. Mouth feel is maybe a little thin, but very bubbly. Pretty complex, the more I had the more I liked the beer. nate2g (1082), Brisbane, Australia

Pours cloudy orange with a medium white head.. Aroma and flavour of malt and citrus. Good carbonation with a malty, dry and crispy finish. Good beer. wildebeest (13), Greater London, England
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Bottle and tap, both with the trademark Coopers cloudiness (wish more beers weren’t so scared of being served the way God intended, with the yeast). Highly carbed, with a dry, malty taste, with a candy sweetness. Very complex, especially from older, cellared bottles. Ethereal (1500), London, Greater London, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 31, 2008 Bottle at the White Horse with tashi and renffisch, 23rd March 2008. I know it’s deliberately served cloudy, but it really doesn’t look nice. Fruity & hoppy aroma and taste, complemented well by a sparkling, lively palate (hence the name I guess). Decent, but I don’t get why some people consider this a world-class beer. Bragesnak (2276), Aarhus, Denmark

Pours a cloudy golden, highly carbonated, especially on draft. Has a decent off white head that is mostly lasting. Good fruity hop notes, with some yeast hints, decently flavorful from the bottle conditioning. Not as good as the Pale ale, but still not too bad when there’s nothing else good on draft. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Pours a curious goledn slightly pale, slightly clear, color, with suspended bubbles. Very intersting. Usually, beer bubble rise to the top, but these are filling the glass and satay put, a unique phenomenom. Lots of funnt littke brown flecks floating around in the glass. I’m almost arfraid to drink it, something looks wildly wromg. Tastes like good malt, slightly fizzy and good. The appearance is still slightly disturbing. Looks like effluent. I would buy again exept for the appearance.
