Taste includes crisp hoppy notes as well. High carbonation... almost too much. Light body and pretty average mouthfeel. High drinkability, and good for the style. Sigmund (2301), Hafrsfjord, Norway

In the first pour the beer is crystal clear golden, hazy in the final pour. Sparkling indeed, but when the initial huge head subsides a little, the carbonation in the glass is not too bad. Fruity aroma with notes of spices. The flavour is also fruity and moderately spicy. Alcohol is noticeable but not disturbing, the beer is fairly light bodied and easy drinking. davegore (202), liverpool, Merseyside, England

Pours a golden amber with a fluffy lively head which didn’t hang around. Apricot and forward fruit flavours in the mouth...very refreshing, but a little too sweet for me. Very clean tasting and very, very satisfying. A great session beer! Cybercat (824), Georgia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 17, 2007 A beautiful golden, somewhat cloudy, semi-transparent, with a nice thick white head. Aroma is strong and pleasantly malty, not complex but appealing. The flavor is rich and malty, with an undertone of citrus and hints of hops, almost no bitterness. A very smooth and refreshing ale. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 17, 2007 Rather surprised by this ale. Light, with a pleasing flavour. Lady Crabapple thought that this had something Belgian about it. I disagreed. Not too sweet, not particularly bitter. I found this to be a well made beer.
