Commercial Description:
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Had sediment which gave it a cloudy appearance. Slightly fruity and a bit dry as well. Bitter and dry finish. Ok but was expecting it be more unique.

375 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Low greyish head. Foggy, orangey-amber body. Aroma i light malty with a scent of fruity hops; ripe apples and pears, and touch of yeast. Taste has much in common with the aroma; fairly dry, light malty, with an appely fruitiness. Also a distinct earthy hop bitterness. Yes, mothfeel is sparkling! Body is rather light, if not thin. Light fruity, light hoppy ending. Overall a decent and quite refreshing ale.

Not too impressed by this beer. aroma of hops, fruits and bitterness. Taste is unimpressive. Palate is mediocre and leaves very little impression with me.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aroma is malty with notes of hay and light caramel. Light, crisp body. Flavor is light malt, and even lighter hops. Not bad.

Cloudy light amber color with a white head. Fruity, hop aroma and bitterness, and some malt. OK ale.

Aggressive rotten bitterness sits on top of a boring watered down malt profile. Thinness and metallic-ness of a pale lager...surprising that this is ale yeast. If you really work at it, there are some faint nice flavors in this one, but what does that matter when it tastes like crap. Might be good in Australia, but thousands of miles away it is quite poor.

Bottle @ Metro. 5.8%. Clear golden pour with a fair amount of carbonation, medium white foam with moderate retention. No cloudiness that I saw. Aroma is sweet fruits. Taste is mild sweetness with a fairly smooth finish. Would have like to see the cloudy character of this beer that others describe. Maybe I need to head to Oz.
