The aroma was woodsy, yeasty, bready, fruity esters. The flavor was woodsy, dry yeasty, fruity (apples, pears), amply hopped, dry, and bitter finish. Hearty full mouthfeel, a bit dry, also assertive carbonation. BelgianBeerGal (1327), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

I am convinced I taste similarities, particularly related to the yeast. Good beer. Reid (1093), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Hazy golden ale, large thick white head.
Aroma for me was almost non-existsnt, what there is is a touch grassy, some pale malts and a merest tingle of hop.
Mostly semi-bitter malty taste, some nice hopping underpinning, a little taste of apple skin appears.
Quite nice on the palate, i liked that this wasnt too carbonated.
Ok beer, not top class even for Golden ales, but drinkable enough.
