Commercial Description:
Coopers Sparkling Ale is brewed naturally by the centuries-old top fermentation method just as it was in the beginning by Thomas Cooper. This beer displays a solid head and a distinctive, full-bodied flavour enhanced by a soft, fruity character and the sediment which gives it a cloudy appearance.

Poured a cloudy amber-orangey color with a nice bright white head, not huge in size, but very solid retention, nice thin covering the entire way down, lacing only ok. The aroma was woodsy, yeasty, bready, fruity esters. The flavor was woodsy, dry yeasty, fruity (apples, pears), amply hopped, dry, and bitter finish. Hearty full mouthfeel, a bit dry, also assertive carbonation.

I’ve had this many times from LCBO and other locations. Pours a golden colour with lots of nice yeasty sediment dancing around. Has some nice yeasty and fruity aromas and taste is mildy hopped with high carbonation. A nice refreshing beer!

I’ve been making Cooper’s kits for a while. The internet told me they are related. I am convinced I taste similarities, particularly related to the yeast. Good beer.

Hazy golden ale, large thick white head. Aroma for me was almost non-existsnt, what there is is a touch grassy, some pale malts and a merest tingle of hop. Mostly semi-bitter malty taste, some nice hopping underpinning, a little taste of apple skin appears. Quite nice on the palate, i liked that this wasnt too carbonated. Ok beer, not top class even for Golden ales, but drinkable enough.

hazy yellow coloured beer with no carbonation and a rather small white head. Yeasty aroma with some fruity touches. Medium malty palate. Finish is light bitter, malty.
